Kauai Rooster
June 18, 2006
One unforgettable feature about Kauai is the endless supply of feral chickens and roosters running all over the island. Many residents kept chickens as pets and livestock before the hurricane of 1992 freed most of them into the wild. Now, you will encounter chickens anywhere and everywhere, from inside Wal-Mart to the deepest jungles.
